When i kill the bot and it fells on the ground, somehow it changes the proportion. It is most pronounced by looking on the arm and legs joints, somehow they shrink and go too much in the torso...
Another issue which is of most importance is the height of bots compared to you....they re almost(if not so) a head smaller when they stand in front of you. I am saying again, the guys which did mod called "troopers, dawn of destiny" have fixed this issue with bots height... I think this should be high priority for the next patch....(the one after r851:D)

I'm not sure what you mean about corpses getting smaller. Can you post a shot?
As for bot height, I'll take a look at that in just a min, then post a bug-report on our bug-tracker if needed.

This is for player height, you can see that you re actually a head taller than the bot...I will soon make for corpse size...

This is for shrinking...as you can see in the screenshoots the joints shrink and go too much into each other... On the second screenshoot you can see that head actually went into the neck, almost completely...

hm. it almost looks like some of the bones are reverting to their default scales, while others are staying normal. That's bizarre.

Heh, In the shots you posted, I honestly can't tell what the shrinking effect is. I guess I'd have to see the original models side-by-side. I gunned down a bunch of bots in super slow-motion, but couldn't spot anything. The 2 bots in the match were both Skaarj (mostly skin - very easy to see the joints) but their heads/limbs seemed okay. The only issue I spotted was the limbs clipping into the body, which is just what ragdolls of UT2004's generation do (as far as I can recall). Do you only see the shrinking effect in certain player models?

yes, and i think it is because the way the ragdolls are projected for the stock ut2004, so they are reverting to default model, because that model takes place when the physics start to act. I think it can be adjusted with milkshape program, but i think you must extend some joints according to the height of the player, but you cant first do that because having a bug of the bots height that needs to be sorted out first. I think it needs to be adjusted accordingly for 4 different models(i think the ut2004 uses 4 different skeletons)... Yes, there is the way, but its a heck of the job in milkshape...and i dont know if you could exactlu calculate the difference between player height... For every model i see a shrinking effect... You havent noticed the player height bug?

Yeah, bot height is a tad low (needs to be raised a bit).
Regarding shrinking joints, I looked very closely, but couldn't notice anything in-game. I took shots of all the bots I examined:

Yours 3th screenshoot have that shrinking, but its a bummer you dont see it. . Ah, nevermind, then just fix the bots height, only then we can talk about shrinking...(you will see it certanly when you fully optimize the height of bots, eblade and i are seeing it now,,,takes time:) ) Or you can try to measure them, when they are standing and when they are on the ground, the mathematics are not lying if we are...lol:D

Ok, i made final screenshoot which will make things clear up for you. The "OK" screenshoot is from the stock UT2004... And the "NOT" is from gunreal... Can you now see the difference? i hope you see....

That would be... awkward. at best.
Also, I don't see this problem, and I can't seem to duplicate it?

Nevermind, if you cant fix it, ok... but when you fix the player size this problem will be a big one.... It will eventualy ruin the good gunreal ragdoll physics because of this...

Fix player size?
I only see it in the screenshots that were posted above, I don't see it in my game, or in any other screenshots anyone else has posted. Is it possible your UT2004\KarmaData files are modified?

Dario told me that they need to be fixed a bit. I dont know, maybe these issues are so minor that people are not seing it correctly, but eblade, you saw this issue on corpses in my first screenshoots, i dont know why are you ignoring it now... nevermind....

I/we are not ignoring it, I'm just not seeing it. I don't know how to duplicate it.
Can you check and see if your UT2004\KarmaData files are the same as the originals?

Uh, sorry, Dario told me about bot height As for files, i can say that they are not modified, and i did a fresh install, So if you cant see it(which is highly probbable) maybe you should start pool about this thread, so let the other testers decide weather is an issue or not.(they see it or not:)) I think its the best way...Do you agree?

Yeah. This thread isn't going anywhere, so anyone who sees it can drop in and mention if they've seen the issue.
