So. Something like Arena gamemode would be cool. Yes, I mean the arena mutator. So theres only one kind of weapon avaible. And you may think why I just don't use the arena mutator. It doesn't work properly. You can't get more ammo because the shopping platform is just the weapon you decided to use in arena settings. But you can't even pick it up. Atleast I can't.
Well. So what do ya' think? Wanka!
(Played alot of sniper in TF2 lately. That explains the "wanka" right?)

Edit: I don't know if this is needed to tell but I tell it anyway. And edit my post only beacause of it.
I want to play shotguns only match of gunreal!

LOL, be careful which planet Earth you say that on. There are a LOT of things people believe in out there, and if each one was taken as good by everyone, we'd be in a lot of trouble. (like the people who want Gunreal to have a standard chicken launcher and cow cannon mixed in with the other guns... sure, that would be fun once in a while, but is it best if every match has them?)

So. Something like Arena gamemode would be cool.

Unfortunately, Arena isn't popular enough to warrant its own game-mode, but I just wrote up a bug report about the mutator issues you pointed out, so things should be in working order soon. Thanks for pointing this stuff out!

But just to mention. I, myself play UT2k4 on arena server. Mostly with lightning guns and rockets only. Sometimes Flak Cannons. Depending on what have the server owner decided to use.
And yes. It has alot of players too. But why do I tell these things, 'cause you will fix that bug. Atleast I hope so. =)

Edit: Just got a other idea while I was playing with bots.
I hate destroyer. But every other weapon is just awesome. So maybe a little feature to restrict usage of some weapons?
That way we can also make kinda arena like gameplay. What do you think?
And yeah, I hate destroyer cause I think its overpowered.
And yes. I know also that its pretty costy but you can buy it with the starting money so you just need to buy it. Do some easy kills, get alot of money, and then just buy more ammo for cheap kills or switch your weapons for something not that cheap. If you hate beign hated by others. Or something.

Apparently, there's a bug active right now that gives you $500 per kill (and over $600 if you have Money Boost active), so you're right; if you buy the Destroyer with your starting cash, it only takes 2 quick kills to be able to afford another Destroyer. (that is, if you die and equip Money Boost, which gives you another $600)

Normally, however - at least for me - buying the Destroyer with the starting cash is just a waste, because I can't get the number of kills required to justify the price. (so, assuming that it would be like that for everyone if there weren't that bug, this seeming weakness is what we want... If it were guaranteed that any weapon could always make up the price you paid for it, it would only make sense to ALWAYS use that weapon... and, naturally, the Destroyer isn't something we want everyone using at all times. The balance comes from making the weaker weapons slightly MORE worth the money, and the stronger weapons slightly LESS worth the money. They still kill better, but hurt the wallet just a little more than they're worth...)

But you're right... As it is, with this money glitch, the Destroyer is way overpowered.
