Never seen this before. Looks like it's blacking out the terrain. Does this always happen in these maps? And does it take more than one rocket before the holes appear? Edit: Oh, and do any other explosives (HRL, Explosive Minigun) do the same thing? Hang on, I'm not done yet. One more thing: what video card do you have? (if it's older, make sure your drivers are from this era - a glitch like that makes one think of ancient drivers)

Happens on the first rocket and thereafter on every AS and ONS map I played. I'm not using a high end video board but a high end iMac. I will get back to you after I do some more testing. I have to go to the eye Doctor and then I'm going to ride my new Harley Sportster this afternoon. WOOT! What a combination. Eye doctor and motorcycle. Go figure. lol
I'll also post my computer specs if you want.

This happens to me sometimes, but only on poorly made custom maps, and it usually appears as blood splatters (after somebody is shot, of course) that appear in a square. maybe something to do with textures? or staticmeshes? I dunno, but it sounds like the same concept, with yours being scorch marks... but it also doesnt just happen in gunreal for me, so with that said... *jumps off roof* .....splat. as you can see, this is what a blood splat is supposed to look like.

Hmm, okay, thanks. That's a fairly recent card, so I wouldn't suspect it to be an obvious cause, especially if others have seen the issue as well (unless they're using the same card).

Not sure what's causing this, but I posted a bug report... Thanks for pointing it out.

I have an ATI Radeon 2600 Pro AGP and I have yet to see this, So I don't think it's anything to do with the graphics card.
