Gore - blood from spawn in the air

I just noticed this for the first time: sometimes, blood-splats will spawn from certain spots in maps (I assume this is the map's 0,0,0 location (?))

Of course, this only happens when someone is taking fire, but not always. Could it be that only a certain type of weapon causes it? If so, it's definitely an automatic weapon, as the blood splats emit quickly... but even when I add tons of bots, it happens rarely enough that I don't think it's a common weapon; my guess would be the Minigun...

Btw, the map is DM-1on1-Irondust... this spot is near the bottom, in the center of the map, standing on the UDamage ramp. (added tons of bots, and turned on god-mode. Mashed the mute button after a few seconds, as soon as the bots found me, and gathered around for An Evening Of Target Practice, With Dario D.)
