Is it posibbile to set time duration of Gunreal decals staying on ground?
Because after 2 minutes the framerate becomes veery low(with 3 or for bots playing)

Note.
If i turn of Projectors the bloodstains are not showing...(thus giving excellent framerate)

I'm not sure, but I'll look into it. I do know that turning off projectors gives you a big FPS boost at the moment, mostly because of the Health/Armor/UDamage pickups that have a rotating light projector that updates every frame.

Yeah, i ask this because on some maps the performance dips below 30fps(Like ctf-absulute zero), and i have 8800GT, c2duo E6550@2.90 and  2gigs of ram, mobo GA-P35-DQ6. Dont know this is normal for this rig though...
I hope you would have some time to test CTF-absolute zero map with default number of bots, at everything maxed out at 1680X1050 with no AA and AF, and report back if you have performance issues.(so i could finally know wether i should change my CPU or my GPU) Smiley

This is a projector issue (minihealth/armor pickups). I get the same performance (8800 GTS), until I turn off projectors, and then the framerate shoots up to 80-100.

We're probably going to have the projectors fixed in the first or second update.

Sorry for double posting. There is one more performance issue. When using proximity spammer, if there are like 20 mines, and then they explode, the smoke makes framerate drop to about 30fps when you are close(or in) the smoke...
But i guess you know that:D

Yes, that will likely remain that way, unless I can figure out a way to further optimize the optimized-smoke emitter that appears when 1 spam charge detonates near another. (or if you're on low detail settings)

I've never gotten choppiness from spammer smoke though, unless the game was already plugged up by something (such as when I throw 64 bots into Albatross with Projectors turned on, but even then I don't drop below 10 fps)

I just committed a change that makes the No Gore setting and the DecalStayScale setting work for all the splatter projectors.  This does not make No Gore completely blood free, but it's not far from it.  More work probably should be done in that area, if we want it clean for those people who can't handle the sight of red pixels on their screens.

I hear it should take anywhere from a few hours to a day or two for changes to get out that way.

If you set the Decal Stay to "Low",in the Video options, it should help.  Let me know, please

Just tested with those settings you mentioned,,,indeed with 64 bots and projectors on, it newer drops below 10fps:P
BUT...i tried once again proximity spammer and when running through smoke it dips down to 30 but as soon as go past the smoke the framerate returns to normal. Which GTS you got? the new G92?(i am asking this because that might be my card is struggling when there are lot of smoke:) )

One thing you shoud know is that on my 8800GT DM-albatross is not stuttering with gunreal mod,,,but only with plain ut2004..strange...i am beginning to thing that is somehow related to weapons and dynamic lightning....
Some CTF-maps are stuttering...but then again a wery few with GUnreal mod on...

Unfortunately, some cards in the 8800 series are known to have a stuttering issue with UT2004. (I don't know which ones. Mine doesn't) Not sure why Gunreal wouldn't stutter for you if UT2004 does, but that sounds fine and dandy to me! Grin

nVidia has a stuttering fix on the way with the next drivers, but they aren't out yet.
