well, sadly, I'm a noob at all this stuff, and this really is the first mod beta i've ever "tested". now that thats outta the way, there are a few things i've noticed. first off, I've only played botmatch, and the destroyers secondary mode doesn't take any ammo. i'm not sure if that's intended or if u know about it. second, once again, i dont know if this is intended, but whenever i fully charge the plasma weapon, and shoot it straight at the ground, i blow myself up. Isn't it supposed to stick like a mine? also, I play mostly custom maps, but the bots get stuck alot, like, ALL the time, even in normal maps. i'll play some more and try to be more specific next time.

Thanks for posting. Yup, the Destroyer alt-fire simply isn't programmed to use ammo yet, and the mine needs to be fixed. I'll post a bug-report right now, because this comes up online as well (my brother said to me, "HEY! The Destroyer doesn't use ammo!")

We might have a universal cure for the bots - that's something that needs to be fixed absolutely ASAP.

Yeah. . . the destroyer has issues. The no ammo limitation on the secondary is a non-issue. The thing is frighteningly spammy. The ammunition carried is so high that even the rpimary fire feels like it has infinite ammunition. The destroyer either needs to be a lot more expensive or carry a lot less ammo.

In my opinion, anyways.

I've noticed the same thing with the Plasma Gun secondary, but it works just fine as long as I'm not shooting straight down (ie: aim a few feet away). I wouldn't mind if it acted like the biorifle though (if you fire straight down, you have to move off of the mine and then step on it again to set it off).

The Destroyer definitely doesn't need 300 ammo or infinite alt-fire, but I can understand it for now since it's just for testing. I usually test weapons I'm working on with infinite ammo to save time, I imagine this is the case here.
