Looking good. The only kind of work we would *need* though at this point is full-time modeling/skinning for vehicles.

Thanks for the offer, but we consider the weapon-set 100% complete for now. After 1.0, if Gunreal is a big hit, we might add a couple new guns (and certainly vehicles), but even then, we try to specifically stick with people who are very experienced (and we do most of everything ourselves), because when shooting for maximum pwn, there's a lot more to the process than just being able to "make" things... so it's important for us to make sure everyone we work with knows the ins, outs, and sideways of whatever he's doing. It was a learning process for me too. The first weapon I ever made for Gunreal, a plasma gun, was junk, because I was still learning everything at the time... so I had to completely trash it, and make a new one.

I like Gunreal more than Ballistic weapons, because even now Gunreal is more balanced. In BW yoou got shtload of weapons and things get,,,overcrowded. I am more for option to keep this number of weapons and do a little more workout with cash balance and weapons strength...
i like gunreal better as of today the reason yester day i posed the drawing of the nail gun on gunreal.com dario turned it down due to the fact that there is no need for a conspt artst at the time so i went to runestorm.com and put the same suggestion in there forums to day i got a personal message form one of the rune storm admins saying te following Hi OK.. If you really want to see the Nailgun made, then i'd be about $200 USD.. Possibly more.. we could perhaps trim off the CO2 tanks to cheapen it if you Lemme know wish? SB i can not bleve some one could be that greedy i have posted that pic as a suggestion i had no idea we would need to pay money to have it made 100% greed that is why i like gunreal better at least dario does not charge people every time a suggestion is made that is why i like gunreal better dario d is not some greedy.

When you hold it in your hands, and look down at it, the whole top (minus the pink window on top) looks like a muddy, murky mess of formless color. It could be souped up a bit, but the whole thing still fails in comparison to the gun on the right (at least in my opinion). I don't know... maybe it could still be made into a mashed-potato launcher or something. in the meantime ill be learing to use the modeling programs is there any tutorals for g max that you know of? that r any good oh and i was wondering what you use for the modeling i use gmax I use 3dsMax (basically GMax all grown up)... I would recommend getting a video tutorial DVD, or going to 3d Buzz and watching their VTM's. I originally learned how to make weapons from following the tutorials on the UT2004 special edition DVD. I had already taken a couple semesters of 3dsMax at community college (fortunately it was a great class), but if I could do it all over again, a nice training DVD would be more convenient. i can not bleve some one could be that greedy i have posted that pic as a suggestion i had no idea we would need to pay money to have it made 100% greed Hmm... very interesting. I would almost suspect that they just consider their mod done though, and offer custom weapon-creation as an extra. Did you perhaps look to see if charging money for custom weapons is a known thing over there?

Google-searching will tell you a lot more than I know. All I know about GMax is that it's free, and 3dsMax costs money (btw, you can get it much cheaper with an educational license).
I tried GMax for about 5 minutes back in the 3dsMax 3 or 4 days (when I was taking classes), but that was it.

3dsmax $100? hahahahhahahhahahahhaha When you go to their website and select the software, first thing on screen is "FINANCING AVAILABLE". ie, this is gonna cost you a LOT. You could buy a used car for considerably less than 3DS.

I have a very minor cosmetic suggestion for the shotgun. Since it can fire two shells, I think should have two barrels, preferably a second hole just below the first like those over-under style shotguns so you don't have to change the model much. Or perhaps more simply you could modify the firing sound to B-BOOM instead of just BOOM. It kind of bugs me how two shells could fire simultaneously out of one barrel, but it's no big deal.

Actually, the small holes on the outer edges of the barrel opening were put there as an idea of having a "branching" firing tube that forced some pellets out with greater spread.
I originally tried "painting" in two holes at the end there, but the shape of the muzzle didn't allow for it to look clean (it's more circular). Plus, I just don't really care for the 2-barrel shotgun design and mentality, probably because I associate it with old western shotguns (I really don't care for the old western theme. Dual-barrel shotguns make me check my shoes for slices of cow-pie).
