The bots really need work. I'm not that good, and I've been beating them on Inhuman without having to resort to anything heavier than the plasma gun.
lol, Eblade would be less surprised if you said the bots were detailing the maps with your spleen, on Novice.

Enough of the weapons have mine-style capabilities or other features that warrant unusual tactics that the bots really need to be taught to avoid them. Right now, they just walk right into the things, and are absolutely horrible at using them themselves.
That was mostly true when things were first put in, but now they're really good about this stuff. They'll stop to try to shoot out your prox mines before progressing, but still have enough tendency to not notice, and walk into things.
Their behavior isn't perfect yet, though (some mine-types seem to be avoided more/less than others) which is what the purpose of beta-testing is going to be: figuring out what final issues need to be polished up.
I just finished making a "how to test" video for the testers (it's going to be an involving experience - probably a lot more so than any beta I've ever heard about), and we'll be releasing beta probably within 1-5 days. Today, if we're lucky.
I wanted to release beta on April Fool's day. That would have been a trip... The last line of the testing video (which you're supposed to watch on a page while Gunreal is downloading) was "And remember, don't be an April Fool") so you watch this whole video, realize the release is a joke, then launch the game, and... wait. What's this? It works? I can play?

I had to cut out that ending though, because I couldn't get it done in time, and there were a few beta-critical bugs still active in the game. (like the teleportation pods disappearing after 30 seconds. That will drive testers out of their skulls... like it drove me out of mine while filming the video).
If anyone finds my skull, please post it here. Thanks.
