Okay, first of all, I'm not quite sure if this is a bug or not, or if I'm just stupid and haven't read the instructions right, so please don't start flaming me or something.
Just like the topic name says, I can't choose the ammo types (Anti-Personal and Anti-Tank) for the Minigun, or any other kind of special ammunition for that matter. I saw in one of the latest screenshots that you could choose it in the shopping menu, but I can't see it on my list, even after I respawned and went to resupply.

Sooo.... Is this a bug, a technical problem, or just me being stupid?  Huh

Edit: Turns out I'm only half-stupid. I get the AP and AT mods during Botmatches and Multiplayer, but when I play the campaign, I can only buy the Minigun itself, and not the different versions.

that is a feature i find weard in death match you cant use anti armor minigun but u can get a destoyer what up with dat

Each weapon only has 1 ammo type, with the exception of the Minigun... but the Anti-Armor and Explosive miniguns are only available in vehicular game-modes.

Yeah, but the Destroyer costs $2000. Wink

The only weapon that can kill infantry in one hit, the HRL, will only be available in vehicular game-modes in the final version (and the rocket will probably fly differently, more like a [Javelin]). The Destroyer still takes work to kill, and the primary fire ROF (rate of fire) will be reduced in the next patch.

cool i like the javelin rocket idea is it going to be for the heavy rocket launcher or the other one oh and i think for death match games the destroyer alt fire should be shorter range because the current range of it is a little to far i think
is there any time frame for the next patch?

The Heavy Rocket Launcher. Attacking your opponents in a small room with Javelin-style regular rockets would be only advisable for map janitors who need help scraping gibs off the ceiling.

We might tinker with it, but it can't be too short, or it won't justify the $2000 price-tag in larger maps. Even many indoor hallways would be too long for the Destroyer-user to hit anyone at the other end (and he would get pwned a lot of the time), so we need to make sure it's a usable length, also considering that it's the most expensive weapon in the game.

On the other hand, we're going to reduce the price in the next patch. (most of the weapons will have adjusted prices)
