This happens only in opengl mod...(which is btw faster in vista)

OpenGL isn't officially supported, is it? I don't have the option ingame.

Btw, I think this is related to projectors or dropped-weapon blood (which is a projector).

Do these blacks areas appear only under bloody kill-dropped weapons?

Is Crysis OpenGL, or Direct3D? (The Wikipedia page doesn't say.)

probably D3D, I'd guess.  Just pointing out that it's not necessarily the graphics technology used, or the engine.  But in this case, it's probably something that the Unreal engine is doing incorrectly.  Or maybe something set wrong on the projectors .

No, it also appers around explosions and plasma gun marks on wall...
Well, about opengl, i have set this mode through *.ini file of UT2004 and Gunreal, because in Vista, although i dont have stuttering with 8800gt, i have lower framerates in D3D. Opengl is faster, but there are no shadows, just blob...
